Network Aims
Researching Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) is tough, it can be lonely and sometimes it feels as though there are so many obstacles and challenges that the research will never happen. The VAWG Research Network aims to bring together researchers providing opportunities to meet regularly, share ongoing, completed and planned research in a supportive environment. Over time we hope researchers from the network will work together to apply for funding, share data and develop new research. Most importantly the VAWG Research Network aims to provide safe spaces to work together, we are stronger together.
Who is the network for?
The network is open to anyone who is engaged in VAWG research (at any stage of their career, working in any organisation). Membership of the network comes with no costs and no commitments. The network meetings will be free of charge to attend (but you will have to cover your own travel expenses).
When are the Network meetings?
Network meetings will be held twice a year. It is hoped in person meetings will commence in 2021. Until this can be confirmed we are organising webinars and sending regular updates via email.
