Are you an academic, professional researcher, or student?
Would you like the opportunity to share your research directly with thought leaders, policy makers, and practitioners who work with people subjected to abuse, violence, or trauma?
The first VictimFocus Conference will be held in London over two days, 13-14 September 2022 and we are inviting the submission of posters on topics relating to violence against women and girls, trauma, victim-blaming, and pathologisation from current research projects.
We’re expecting 300 conference attendees from a wide range of sectors including women’s services, social work, the criminal justice system, NHS, therapy, and youth work, who will come together over two days to explore anti-victim blaming and trauma-informed practice.
The poster exhibition will take place during our long lunch and breaks in the hospitality suite at StoneX Stadium, London, for one day of the VictimFocus Conference. Research projects will also be featured on the conference website and researchers will be invited to write a blog about their research for VictimFocus.
If we select your poster for inclusion at the conference, you will be invited to attend for one day as our guest, to present your poster and attend conference sessions. (Discounted tickets are available if you would like to come for the second day also).
We would love to hear about your research. Please complete the proposal form using the link below:
